![]() ![]() If I try to run HotSpot Shield it won't work. I knew this because when I disabled it everything was fine. It worked for a few days then it went down again, and I saw that it was HotSpot Shield and not Webroot that was the problem. I am not sure how he came to the conclusion that it was Webroot, but once it began to work we thought the problem was solved. At first it did not take it but the second time it did. He had gone into Thunderbird and took out my user name and password, and had me enter my password when he wanted to put it back in. I contacted Earthlink my provider by way of the telephone and the tech guy accessed my computer remotely and he thought it was my virus protection which is WebRoot. It was all working fine until a couple of weeks ago I couldn't send or receive by way of Thunderbird, and my Mailwasher wasn't checking either. Here is my situation, I have HotSpot Shield installed on my computers which I bought almost 2 months ago. I realize this may not be the place to find a solution, but I thought I would give it a try. ![]()
